Sorry you’re leaving

Nadiya’s debut as a writer/director with Sorry you’re leaving in 2023, a narrative short film set out to challenge the expectations and stereotypes of displaced people, often reinforced by the media.

National Dandy

National Dandy is a short documentary produced by Nadiya Taylor and directed by Maroua El Moutribi. It examines an addictive nature of Sapology, a cultural phenomenon that found its way to Europe from post-colonial Congo, while centring the narrative around Eustache Seke, aka “Le Nationaliste”, a recognised member of La Sap community in London.

In the recent years Nadiya had an opportunity to work in production across various projects, including for Chanel and Somesuch

Photography

Nadiya’s fascination with the human subject naturally informs her photography, which focuses on people and the spaces they inhabit
